Flag Formats (How We Work?)

Are you wondering how we work? Here are the key rules to follow to ensure you are satisfied with the final result. Read them carefully, and soon you will receive a flag from us that fully meets your expectations, in the appropriate size and color.

Flag Formats

The format of the flag provided in the store corresponds to the finished product – this also applies to the finishing itself, including edging, tunnels, or reinforcing tapes. Therefore, we ask for a detailed verification of the design file so that individual elements of the flag (texts, logos, and other graphic elements) are not located at the edge. It is best to place the graphics 3 cm from the edge with edging and 4 cm from the edge in the case of reinforcing tape or tunnel from the tape.

On all tunnels made of base material, there is a print, so it is important to ensure that the seam from the tunnel does not pass through an important detail of the graphic or text. The finished product may also differ from what you see in the preview. This is due to limited technical possibilities, differences in visualization, differences in proportions and resolution of different computer screens, as well as differences between flat and real images.

The colors you see on the monitor may differ from those in reality. This is due to technical limitations (we print in the CMYK model) and color settings of the screens. At the same time, we would like to emphasize that prints and colors themselves should be as close as possible to the visualization on the screen.

It is also important to check the resolution of any bitmap images inserted into the project before placing an order.

As for graphic files, they must meet the following requirements:

  • The output file in PDF format (taking into account scales of 1:1, 1:10, 1:100) must be free from marks/crop marks, additional descriptions, or flattening of layers and drawn confections.
  • The PDF page format must match the net print size.
  • Fonts should be converted to curves.
  • The safe minimum size of a color element is 1 mm (at a scale of 1:1), while the size of a white element is 2 mm (at a scale of 1:1).
  • Texts and vector objects should be saved in CMYK, PMS Coated, Uncoated, or RAL color models.

Please also include bitmap images (in CMYK model), they should be included in the file instead of using links to external sources. They should also be stripped of ICC profiles.

Please also maintain a minimum resolution of 72 dpi for the bitmap at a scale of 1:1.
